This years host for the Annual General Meeting was Nicholaisen A/S. The meeting took place in Copenhagen. On sunday the group explored the city by bicycle and got wonderful impressions of the attractions. A guided tour through the Opera House was one of the highlights.

On the next two days the official meeting took place. Mats Mared (Mared J. AB Ingenjörsfirman,Sweden) was re-elected as President, Robin Jack (W & R Jack Ltd., New Zealand) and Andrew Legault  (CNC Automation, Canada) were re-confirmed as Vice Presidents. As usual the members exchanged the experiences with different manufacturers, reported about their market situation and compared data sheets with figures of their individual companies.

Nicholaisen as host chose the window manufacturer Dovista Window Willage in Welkowy, Poland for a factory visit. Dovista is a Danish owned company developing and producing products for facade windows and external doors for the North European market – also with facilities in Poland.
The meeting on the next day was held in the VILLUM Window Collection, which was established in 2006 on the initiative of Lars Kann-Rasmussen. The collection is named after his father, the civil engineer Villum Kann Rasmussen, who founded the VKR Group in 1941 and developed the VELUX roof window in 1942. This company is also a customer of Nicholaisen A/S. Dinesen is a family-owned Danish company which designs extraordinary plank floors and other exclusive solutions with wood. The showroom in Copenhagen was also visited.

During the meeting the members discussed amongst other topics, how they deal with big projects. All members agreed, that the development of service activities will be more and more important in the different markets. As a result the next Service Meeting will be held in April 2017 with Service Managers and the General Managers/Owner of the COMBOIS members.
