During the Annual General Meeting 2019 (AGM) a new board was elected: President Andrew Legault, (CNC Automation, Canada), board members Jolanda de Groot (De Groot Bewerkingsmachines BV, Netherlands) and Sandy Ho (Homag China Goldenfield Ltd., Hong Kong)
This Year’s AGM took place in the Netherlands, hosted by De Groot Bewerkingsmachines BV, Netherlands. Over the weekend, the members and partners explored S’Hertogenbosch, followed by two days of meetings. The members exchanged the experiences with different manufacturers, reported about their market situations and compared data sheets with figures of their individual companies. The last part was the visit of de Groot Bewerkingsmachines in Rosmalen. The staff proudly presented the 16,000 sq/m showroom with well known brands of woodworking machinery – new and second hand. They also explained the processes of their service department.
Future meetings
The next Service Meeting takes place in Europe, 15 – 17 March 2020. Our Scandinavian members will organize this meeting. The Annual General Meeting 2020 will be hosted by our member Handl Maschinen GesmbH & Co. KG, Austria. Date: 26 – 30 September.
