Norway was the destination for our yearly event – we visited Alesund on the west coast and Loen. Our member A. Falkenberg Eftf. A/S was a great host for the COMBOIS group.
Mats Mared (Mared J. AB Ingenjörsfirman,Sweden) was re-elected as the President, Robin Jack (W & R Jack Ltd., New Zealand) and Jesper Nicholaisen (Nicholaisen A/S, Denmark) were re-confirmed as Vice Presidents.
Beside exchanging experiences with different manufacturers, the members reported about their market situation and compared data sheets with figures of their individual companies. In the end of the meeting all members voted unanimously for a membership of De Groot Bewerkingsmachines, Netherlands. De Groot is an important company on the market for woodworking, plastics and aluminum machines – new and used – and the service. We welcome our new member.
A factory tour gives interesting insights in the production of the Hagen Treindustrie and Ekornes, well known for “Stressless” armchairs and sofas.
