Jann Bjoerne Senior, Norway passed away on 19 April 2016 – two weeks and 5 days before his 90th birthday. He was one in the group of the COMBOIS founders in 1967. He was a board member from 1975 – 1978 and took over the presidency in 1982. He had led the COMBOIS for 6 years. He shared his experiences in the woodworking world with the members. He was always open-minded because of his visits all over the world. He had an active, beautiful and long life.
Jann Bjoerne sen. has been our Honorary President since 1992.
Many of us have wonderful memories of Jann and his wonderful talent of humorous speeches. It was a great pleasure for all participants of the AGM 2014 that we were able spending time with him. He went with us through the wonderful program. Our thoughts are with his family and especially with his wife Nina. They have been married for more than 60 years.
We will always keep Jann in our mind.
